My first e-book

Well, it's official and I can now announce it:

I published today my first photography book, an electronic book that exists only on the Internet on the other side of this link.
It's a book that brings together some of my photos with quotes from several authors. It's a simple book with eleven double pages and to me it is sort of a turning point.
I hope you like it :-)

Site update

New site update. I'm starting to worry about the time I take to update things around here - this time I was more than 2 months without saying anything...
Well, there are two new galleries, jazz and smoke, some (few) photos changing galleries and others that were gone for good. I am preparing a new part of the site, it may be ready today, but for now I can't tell what it is :-)))

11.3.03

Site update

Site update: after some time in hibernation, there is finally some new stuff around here - three new galleries, lo-fi, lomo and s; I also added and removed some photos in the other galleries.

4.1.03

Site update

Site update: new photos in the polaroid gallery.
Given the integration of this website in the olhares.net project, there is now a link to that site in all the pages of brunoespadana.com.

Suggestions

Three new suggestions:
Algimantas Aleksandravicius, Lithuanian photographer. The page is part of the website of the Lithuanian Photographers Union and has some very strong portraits shot by this photographer. The rest of the site is also worth a visit to have an idea of what is being done in photography in Lithuania.
Olav Murillo Creative Portfolio. Three photo galleries - "People", "Places" e "Objects" - and some extras make the site of this Mexican photographer an interesting place to visit.
Alan Wilson - Photo A Week. An original project - to put online one photograph by week, taken in that same week - kind of a photo diary of the year that goes by. Street photography that deserves a detailed visit.

Suggestions

Two suggestions for the weekend:

Private and Public is a work by Danish photographer Simon Hoegsberg. Simon placed himself for one year in a fixed spot in Marble Arch, London and took pictures of the people that passed by. This website is the final presentation of that project, with galleries split according to the four seasons. This is a project that impresses mainly because of the strength of those everyday faces and because of their natural expressions - no one is posing, there are no "actors" here.

Secondly, a totally different proposal: unstill, Laurent Ziegler's website that presents several galleries of beautiful black and white photos of modern dance shows. It is a heart-felt homage to an art form that the photographer loves and that he manages to execute perfectly.

27.11.02

Site update

Site update: new gallery digital minimalism and some new photos in the galleries les gens, self-something and polaroid.

26.11.02

Franco Fontana

Gallery of polaroids by this Italian master of colour photography.

24.11.02

Simon Ladefoged

Website of Danish photographer Simon Ladefoged. Simple and elegant design, with six galleries of excellent colour photographs.

Martin Fuchs - Photographien aus Portugal in Schwarz und Weiss

Martin Fuchs is an Austrian photographer who visited Portugal for three times in the last three years and this site is the result of those visits. Photographs of places, of people, of architecture, of landscapes, that show a cunning look that goes much beyond the typical tourist photography. Well worth a detailed visit.
